Shine your light in the world...

I begin each morning listening to a selection of Abraham’s “Getting Into The Vortex” meditation. It puts me in a place of peace and helps me create a mindset for the day of expectance, allowing, and receiving inspired action.

As much as I try to clear my mind for this brief 15 minute period, often thoughts or visions enter in… This morning, the idea of sharing my light and love in the world was vivid. I imagined myself lighting a candle, as I touched the heart of someone in some small way, they too lit a candle, and with the ripple effect, it wasn’t long before a massive amount of light was being emitted by thousands of candles…

I then thought of Marianne Williamson’s most profound quote from her book “A Return to Love” that begins, “Our Deepest Fear is not that we are inadequate…” ( (I encourage you to look it up, print it off and hang it on your fridge or cork board where you can read it often) This part of the quote spoke to me this morning… “And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same…”
Today, I encourage you to shine and share your light, your gifts, your love…Let the ripple effect begin…

“Let your light shine. Be a source of strength and courage. Share your wisdom. Radiate love.” Wilferd Peterson

Power Of Gratitude

I remember when I experienced for the first time (years ago) just how powerful the feeling of gratitude is… I was driving at the time, and something wonderful had just happened, and I was feeling on top of the world! I kept saying “thank you” over and over to myself, and I began to feel this wave of energy ripple through my body, continuously. I had felt this same energy sensation not long before, when I began to explore meditation. I felt so connected in that moment to something so much larger than myself…
We have heard many times over, just how important gratitude is, but often we neglect to think or speak it aloud. Why is that? There really is no excuse! We can’t use the “busy” word for everything!

I just listened to an interview with Bob Doyle, via “The Masters Gathering”. I love listening to Bob's wisdom! One of the things he shared is that feeling gratitude is one of the most powerful techniques for attracting what you want in your life. It puts you in a direct path of alignment with “receiving”. When you say “thank you” to the universe, you are saying, “ I have…I have…and I love what I have—and it feels great, and the universe naturally mirrors that and returns to you more things that you love and will feel grateful for! How simple a step is that to direct you on a path to achieving your goals and desires?

Gratitude is so easy to incorporate daily—I consider gratitude part of my daily morning reflection and prayer, and I continue to find things I am grateful for throughout my day. Things like--great driving conditions when I have to be on the road, green lights, a beautiful view, my wonderful business partners and customers,my supportive friends, etc., and as if by magic, the day just seems to flow perfectly! What if we could all add daily gratitude to our new positive habits?

There is an incredible little E-book that I recently stumbled across. It is called “The Astonishing Power Of Gratitude” and you can download it for free. It is only 18 pages, so you can read it right now! It is written by Wes Hopper, and you can find it at DailyGratitude.com Enjoy!

I found this statement online: “When gratitude is practiced as a regular and meaningful expression—where thought, emotion and intention are involved—it has the potential to change life positively and dramatically.” How cool is that?!
